Can "good UX" and Sustainable UX mean the same thing in online gambling? Where might the boundaries lie, and where is the balance?

Online gambling platforms are one of the sharpest mirrors of the UX profession: the very same tools that provide comfort and enjoyment elsewhere can easily become drivers of excessive engagement and risky behavior here.
I made a study examines how all of this looks through the lens of Sustainable UX: what measurable impacts current design patterns have, how AI is reshaping the landscape, and what UX methods can be used to make the gambling experience more transparent, controllable, and resource-efficient all at once. The goal is for “good UX” to signify not only engagement responsibility in this industry as well.
